Animation: If all keys are deleted there's sometimes still animation movement.

A big issue I've had for a long time is when working on an animation, sometimes I may not like a certain movement and I will delete the key, yet when I go through the frames I still see the movement occurring as if there is still a key there and values are changing. How can I delete all value changes in a figure on a particular frame?

Show hidden keys on the timeline, i.e. access the "Types" menu at the bottom and make sure they're all ticked.
