... well, that's going to get pretty confusing pretty quickly.

As far the curtains, that's always the slightly irritating trade-off; hide the inside of buildings, or have to spend ages and loads of resources populating them.

Still, I was very tempted by that set earlier, but I eventually decided it was too distinctively American to be much use to me; although I've been around a lot of Britain and Europe, I don't think I've ever actually seen a place like that in person. (Which reminds me - I have actually got sets for places I've been in person, but I keep forgetting to use them!)

    Stepford, but middleclass.

Are the windows and blinds separate geometry  Can you just turn the blinds down to 0.00?   I only see the deluxe house and the mansion with views to outside because you have inner rooms.

I was an idiot for not buying block 1 yesterday when it was $1.99. It's very resource heavy.  I bought Block 1 part A  that contains less cpu memory, and I had part B and C in my cart. A, B, and C all are cpu friendly, allegedly.

Went away yesterday, came back today and of course they arent' in the PC for a day thing anymore.sad

Check the $2.99 section. Things seem to wander back into that category after their day as a PC item.

...grew up in such a neighbourhood back in the 50s & 60s.  Not so much secrets, as it was keeping the busy body neighbour (and every neighbourhood had one) from invading your privacy.

    missing inside curtains

elfridge house managed it by putting a billboard inside the building of an intrerior.  it was fun putting a sexy M4 in the window.

They're not all that common in most of the US anymore either.  I DO remember neighborhoods that looked like that when I was a kid, but that kind of ubiquitous cookie-cutter mass construction mainly happened in the first two decades after WW2, when a large part of the population began moving to the suburbs en masse and simply owning a home was still a big deal.  By the 60's that look was being broadly criticized in books, films and other popular culture and the new neighborhoods that were being built tended to mix multiple house designs for a more varied appearance.  Then, in the 70s and 80s the size of new houses began to escalate dramatically, so many of those original cookie cutter houses have since been either heavily modified with extensions or, even more often these days, bulldozed and replaced with completely new houses.

In any case, an easy solution is to pull up a couple of the houses and replace them with houses from other sets, like the ones from Dreamland's sets over at Rendo.

I've been grabbing Collective3D's houses and Neighborhooh and Create A Room as the come up , and figure for the houses that are just exteriors I can make "movie " type sets to use for the interiors  can also set up do renders to put inside the houses on a primative  and unblock the window coverings .....

They look so cool am hoping one day will find their way into a sale I can spend on, even if more induvidually and spaced out enough for me to afford them.

Joining PC+ then having to buy everything in a limited time even if 1.99 adds up to an awful lot in one go that just isn't viable for me,

Fastgrab is my only real option
