Thanks for replying, I went to do a render to show what I'm seeing and have realised that it has to do with the texture, some mats make the eye appear sunk into the face but they actually aren't.
On a separate note were you aware that the poses (the ones that come with Scamp) return the figure to the 0 coordinates and reset the scale of the figure.
On another note, not really your issue the Cinnabun figure once installed sets the GHD Bunny dial to 100% on the Scamp figure so when he is loaded he comes in looking a bit odd for Scamp.
And will you be doing a rabbit, Quinn was always my favorite of the old set.
Thanks for recreating these they really are extremely adorable.
He is just too cute. Here he is with the old Millennium Teeth....this really adds some possibilities. Just scaled a bit and parented to the head (best done in default pose)
Oh heavens that is so totally adorable with the teeth! I love it! May have to make tiny dentures for the little guys now! ;)
I have plans for a bunny eventually probably around easter, but cinnabon rules for now ;)
Happy New Year, everyone.
Oh, yes, please make a teeth for them. They look so adorable with them.
Yeh, doesn't work for me in 4.11 either. Perhaps it sould say DS 4.12 ONLY on the product page. Has anyone got the fur to render in 4.11? Only the hair guides render for me.
Maybe even a tongue?
Ah... the teeth and tongue varients are adorable! (Somehow I never noticed they didn't have teeth before).
I really love this small guy...
Fur appears at render time but does not appear in the viewport. Though both are supposed to use the same Iray render. Is there a way to get a fur preview also in the viewport ?
You need to alter the parameters for the hair. There's a "preview PR hair" parameter under General > line tesselation section which needs to be set to "on", and you may need to increase "viewport line tesselation sides" too.
Thanks @Leana. They look really nice ! Before that I was using not ultra convincing shells with displacement to get some "fur". This is so much better !
I sooooo love Pushies!!!! (Recently I just bought them all
)
For some reason, though I am unable to render the furry version of Scamp and Ping... it might look like this:
or it would take like forever to render...
it is working perfectly with Pounce and Whiskers...
Using DAZ 4.12 64bits and Mac...
Any suggestions, please?
Many thanks in advance...
Plushies 2.0 use dForce Hair for the fur. dForce Hair doesn't show up in the render preview by default. The fur should show up once it's rendered in Iray though (fully rendered - not Iray preview).
Thanks for the explanation.
I had posted those screenshots because the rendering process takes like forever (more than 14 min and nothing shows...still at 0%)...it is like I was rendering in 3Dlight when I am Not. This is different than when I do it with Pounce and Whiskers, as I said.
With Scamp and Ping I cannot see any renders at all (yet).
So, wondering what can I do, or if it is a bug or anything related to these products...or what can I do to fix this...
Looking forward to a reply for me to work with them, really... thanks in advance.
edited: I had tried to render them with fur shaders and they work, except that I loose the materials presets that I like over here...
What is the workaround everyone is using to get Teeth and tounges in these little guys?
