What is the reason Daz Studio can not show colours of my image?

Why is my image appearing like so:

https://ibb.co/Bj8WsHC

It was coloured before

It rendered fine previously. Is this program so buggy because it is free and how do you guys cope with the struggle?

  • It's in Iray preview mode and obviously Iray has not yet rendered - it could be taking a long time because of soemthing in the scene, it could be that the GPU memory is exhausted, it could be some kind of hardware or software glitch. How ling have you let it sit? have you tried restarting DS?

No it is surely not waht you said. I may have broken the program.

Similar result shows after i listened to some advice and removed headlights and chose a new camera. The image also now shows black.

It is possible you have changed something in Tone Mapping, so too much light is getting into the camera and is blowing out the image, or you have set the Environment Map to a high setting which is producing too much light.

    They are under Render Settings.

Yes, on reflection I think you are right.

In the Render Settings pane - if you are using an HDR to lightt he scene you could just alt(Win)/opt(Mac)-click on the sliders in the Tone Mapping group in the Editor tab.

I deleted the project and I do not think what you suggested would work because I literally started clicking every single option in the render options and it pretty much came out the same int the preview (can\t remember all but iremember it had no effect as of to show up properly). Unless I have missed an option pretty much I write off the image *uked. :/

Good for me the new image starts off well. No random clicking anymore for me.
