hello everyone its been a long time since i used daz i forgot how do i change the download location in the daz softwear  it keeps downloading to my main hd and i want it to go to an extra harddive of mine

Look in the DIM, then the Downloads Tab.

I'm not 100% on this, but if you change that, you'll have other issues if you don't also move all items in the current folder to the new one.

Click the gear icon at top-right of the main window, then go to the Installation tab, click + to add a new location, and select the target folder, then once that is added set it as the current folder using the option at the bottom of the dialogue, and click Accept. If you already have the desired pathss et in DS you can also, with DIM closed, use http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/install_manager_config/start to add the path(s) to DIM, but make sure (by clicking the Details box at the bottom of the main DIM window) that the right one is then being used.

If it is Connect you want to change that is in Preferences Content Directory Manager.
