DAZStudio and Zbrush issue...help anyone?

I am using DS 4.9 and most current version of Zbrush. I can GoZ a Genesis 3 or 8 figure out of Studio and it arrives in Zbrush perfectly. However when I attempt to GoZ the figure back to Studio, it triggers the opening of a new (secondary) version of Studio. Essentially it's not reconnecting to the original figure and version running. Now I've double checked my directory options and Zbrush is definitely sending it back to Studio (obviously since it opens a new version of the program and then imports as an object file) - so that's not the issue. Zbrush knows where Studio is and connects to it, but not the already open version for some reason. And no matter how many times I try this, it will continue to trigger the start of another and another (so on) version of Studio rather than going back to the first one where the figure came from.
Any clues on how to fix this? It's annoying to be stuck able to get a figure in but not back. If this is a glitch, is there some way to get around it? Poser doesn't seem to have this issue. It goes back and forth, zoom-zoom-zoom. So what am I doing wrong with Studio? Also I've noticed I can export a figure from Poser as an Object, alter in Zbrush and re-import as a morph target successfully, but Daz doesn't work unless Genesis figures are set to base resolution? Is that intentional? (I know DAZ has locked features for vendors and such...)
Help anyone?
ADDENDUM AND UPDATE:
I finally solved this problem tonight. As it turns out the GoZ plugin version I had installed was released with Studio 4.9. When I upgraded to Studio 4.10, the GoZ option was still visible in my FILE drop-down and it still sent models to Zbrush successfully. I was unaware at the time that the plugin was later updated as well to specifically work with 4.10. So I was using the 4.9 version plugin in 4.10. Why that was working I don't know...but it would send to Zbrush but when GoZ in Zbrush attempted to re-link, the DAZ end of the plugin was still looking for 4.9 - and not finding it, bumped the only Studio executable in the main file which was 4.10. Essentially the bridge was breaking down on the way back. DAZ support told me it was my Zbrush that was the problem some months back. It isn't. I tried installing the 4.12 GoZ plugin in 4.10 tonight and the Zbrush option completely disappeared from my FILE menu. It was then that I realized that every release of Studio apparently has a special version of the GoZ plugin. So I installed 4.12 full Studio tonight and re-ran the installer for the current GoZ plugin and it's working perfectly now. SOOOOOOO...if you have this problem, it's because your GoZ plugin (DAZ end) version is not compatible with the Studio version you are using. You have to have compatible versions. Apparently I never downloaded the 4.10 version because I didn't know it had been updated or changed. It's not available now so I just had to update everything. Hope this helps somebody else out.

Do you have multiple version of DS installed?
(The HD on Genesis is only for PA.)
No I don't have but the one version installed. It keys up the same version when going back as mentioned. Essentially I end up with two instances of Studio running...one with my original figure and the second with the Goz prop loaded. Very bizarre. I was aware of the HD limitations (which is kinda' shammy I think) but even base level Genesis will not work.
Did you try to re-install?
I know also there are multiple versions of GoZ according to DS version, do you use the one for 4.9? Don't know if that could be the culprit.
In ZB in the Preferences menu there's a GoZ section. Make sure you've got the correct path there
"Now I've double checked my directory options and Zbrush is definitely sending it back to Studio..."
I thought I stated that fairly clearly. The first logical step is to check the GoZ directory address and yes, it's correct or as I stated, it would not open a new DS 10. I have the most recent GoZ version that I am aware of.
