Got a Mac for my 50th birthday...yeah, no GPU but it still does well...

Considering an eGPU vs a Windows box just for Daz...

    If you're planning to render in iray, google "egpu Mac site:daz3d.com" (or just search the forums here) before you splash cash on an egpu.

    TL/DR: iray ain't gonna work if you're running 10.13 (High Sierra) or later.
