Can I keep 4.11 if I install 4.12 production?

I've not found 4.12 as stable as 4.11, but would like to upgrade to 4.12 for its benefits and future upgrades.  I currently have 4.11 and the 4.12 beta installed.  Is there a way to do this?

    No, you need to have one version as General Release and one as Public Build. If you back up the isntallers for DS and the plug-ins you can switch isntallations by copying the version you want into the DIM Downloads folder, working offline.
