Latest Win 10 Pro 64-bit. I can use it to install regulr content just fine, but it fails almsot immediately when executables are being installed (e.g. plugins, Photoshop content). I even used Process Monitor to try and see what it was errroring on but nothing stood out. I'm the default user of the system and am an admin (and have UAC on). Owneership looked correct and effective permissions confirmed that. Hoping someone on here has some ideas as to what I can look for. Install paths also looked correct. I did just install the latest "Install Manger Default Filters" -- could that have broken it? I'm not sure the last time this worked -- I installed DS 4.12 manually.

The best thing to do is look at both of the DIM log files.
Fire up DIM and click on 'work offline' and then the gear icon, top right.
To view the main log file, click on 'Show Log', bottom left. Then scroll to the bottom.
To view the 'helper' log file, CTRL-click on Show Log' and again scroll to the bottom.
One of the two should give an indication of what's going wrong.
Are you missing a hidden permissions window? For me these sometimes do not come to the front, especially if installing a numbe rof things via DIM, and after a time the installation fails even if I do eventually accept the installation request.
I didn't know about Hlog.txt. It showed that the files were unreadable. I moved the download directory from a network file share to a local filesystem and was able to install successfully. This is a new workstation (my old laptop died) so maybe I need to set some new permissions on the file server (a Synology DIskstation) or there's a WIndows setting interferring. Thanks for the help! I wish DAZ would put a button in for both log files!!
I'm glad I could be of help and that you got things sorted as a result.
