My muse has left the building it seems

I'm in such a dry spell right now...

I'm actually enjoying watching Ru Pauls Drag Race, which I've never watched, believe it or not... while it's not giving me any ideas or musings for doing something for the Genesis 8 Male it's sure fun!  Never thought I'd like that show but sure makes me miss doing drag!

Le sigh.....

My muse gave me an attitude and joined the Muse Union. Now I only have a scab muse who never shows up on time and is always high on something.

Working on a webcomic and having to complete a page in a week fortunately helps keeping my muse in line. Also, since I included Zoom into the process and can conference with my co-auther about the images, new ideas keep popping up all the time. So I really can't complain about my muse (well, perhaps except for her wanting to start an interplanetary war... devil)

Mine is complaining because I'm to busy with other stuff to do any renders.

Yes beeing busy doing a comic with weekel or in my case biweekly helps a lot, there is always something to be done, but I think my muse is a bit hyperactive having at least three or four things she wants me to do besides that ... I can't keep up, I could have three computers running with DAZ that might be helping ..

The muse is willing the application is borked

until I can get a useable build of DAZ studio my Muse is pulling her hairs out

  • My muse refuses to participate without substantial funding.

Mine is deciding that it needs to build updated character roughs*, not renders. Haven't done anything beyond a spot render in weeks.

*and Frankencritters. Have been occupied in building some Frankencriters.

My muse wants me to get a faster GPU because she's tired of waiting.

If you could describe your muse, I could keep an eye open for it... you should also decide if you want it returned, and in what condition... like is this a "dead or alive" situation or just kindly suggest it go home...

I know your situation... I lost my muse years ago... it was somewhat of an alcoholic and would often fall asleep under the car... one day I backed over it and now I've spent the last twenty years using a taxidermied possum as my stand-in muse... I wouldn't suggest using taxidermied roadkill as a muse, especially if you've done it yourself... and especially if it was your fist try.

You could try leaving some muse treats out in a bowl by the back door or porch... my muse would sometimes enjoy a small bowl of rum or wasabi peas.

Unfortunately, raccoons also enjoy rum and wasabi peas... which might not be that bad, raccoons were often used as muses in ancient times, they'd be given little tunics or togas and allowed to cavort and canoodle to their heart's content.  The Babylonians used goats as muses in extreme situations and many were dressed up in wigs and elaborate makeup and allowed to participate in what today would considered a drag contest or festival.

A friend of mine had a goldfish as a muse, but it died. It wasn't a very good muse, it mostly just sat around staring aimlessly at nothing.

Before you replace your lost muse with a raccoon or a turtle or something, you should at least put up some posters around the neighborhood... maybe offer a small reward or some McDonald's gift certificates for its return...

If it doesn't return, I'm sure it's just fine and living on a farm upstate where it runs and plays with other muses, and isn't rotting in a ditch somewhere with tire marks all over it...

It'll probably be just fine... but there's always goats... and I'm hearing great things about chinchillas too...

    Well... good luck.

Mine has developed an annoying fascination with rocket launchers, automatic weapons, grenade launchers, and some sci-fi things that look dangerous.
