I recently aquired Dusty HD Cowgirl Outfit and in it Sixus include something called a hat clip plane for hair. when it is applied the first time a window called "D-Former load options" (see image) There are no instructions on what to select or how to use it. are there specific instructions on how to use this. And can it be used on more than just this clothes set?

I'm guessing it's probably meant to be applied to HeatherHair to make it fit under the hat? So I'd choose selected and the hair. If you apply it to something it's not meant for, just select the item and dial down dFormer strength to 0, or open the dFormer tab, with the item selected you can remove the dFormer node.

You can probably save as a dFormer preset which can then be applied to other hair props etc.
