Light presets

Hi all. I have a good question here. I have a few of the Cake light preset environments. They can only be seen with the viewport set to Nvida so I use the alt viewport for it and keep my regular viewport set at normal. I load it all with a character and render. Then I save the character again. I did not realize it but it also saves the light preset. Everytime I load the character, it loads the preset. My question is this....how do I get rid of the previous light preset? If I try to load another over it, it will freeze up my pooter. I have to use the power button to restart the pooter. I just want to remove the previous light preset so I can load another with that character. I can't seem to seperate them and save just the character.
anyone?

Delete them and save a Scene Sub-set.
Scenes save render settings, and load them on open, by default. Merge the scene instead of opening and the render settings will be skipped.
I merged the scene instead of opening it and I still got the same light preset environment as a background.
Is this an HDRI, or is it a skydome type of object actually loaded as a model in the scene?
It is an HDRI. It can only be seen with the Nvida viewport selected. It is Orestes Iray HDRI Lonely Country Road.
I'm assuming that when you load the character, the light presets do not show up under the Scene tab as discrete items, separate from the character?
I'm also assuming that your character is a custom character?
Did you by any chance save the character originally as a morph asset?
I have a few ideas based upon the answers to the foregoing, including one ugly possibility that you may not like much, but has the advantage of working in a brute-strength kind of way. I'll leave that for last.
Hi there
Late to the battle.
Our HDRI presets are Render presets, so there is no way they are saved if you save the character only.
There is no prop, hidden or visible, it's only a render setting.
If you save the scene, they are saved (as they are part of the scene.)
IF you save the character only, they can not be included.
The thing is, i have noticed in Studio, than whatever render setting i use, HDRI, Scene only, Sun and sky etc, when i finish a scene, and click on "new", it will keep whatever render setting i was using.
The only way to get the "basic" render setting back (the ruin HDRI) is to close studio and launch it again.
I guess it can be changed in the preferences but i haven't searched for it yet and it can be useful sometimes so i just keep it that way.
