Convert LAMH presets into strand based hair ?

Don't know about possible copyright issues or if it's doable at all/ with a reasonable effort.

But seeing how many great LAMH presets (just to name Rawart's older creatures) are out there, I would pay money for something like a converter script ! 

And btw., can anyone confirm that these presets like Sasquatch e.g., work for him with 3DL and 4.12 release ?
