Does anyone know which product includes the water plane for the promotional images in this product?

Alternatively, if there's a product which includes one which is actually modelled, so that anything half-submerged will show the waves alongside the skin/hull? Since a flat plane will always look like just that and destroy the illusion if looked at closely.

It doesn't look like it's anything special to me...looks like a displacement map and the proper settings (low opacity, reflection and refraction with the proper IOR...with some color added in), on a simple plane.

    Also, you can add this....

Got a feeling it might be the sea from the same creator's other product:

    Anyone able to verify?

I do like that someone's made visible wakes, however!

EDIT: What's the 'scale' that wake product's meant to use? I tried to import one to test it and was confronted by a request from Daz to define which measurement scale to translate the thing as. Doesn't seem to be textured as actual water, either.

I think you're right about the Sea Scapes, as the water does look exactly like the water in the Ship Shark promos.

I'm not sure what the difference in scale would be for the Wakes as Spacebones originally created them for Bryce and then converted them to be used in other 3D apps. I don't recall if there's a difference in scale between Bryce and DAZ|Studio (if that's what you're using), or if there is, what it would be.

it is a waterdisk with lots of wavemorphs that is not so directly shown in the promo images and you can use it without the beach, it is a seperate item. I use it also for my waterrenders.

LOL!! As part of the Island is featured in 2 of the promos its clearly the other set by the artist. Thanks for the Wakes Link. I love Spacebones things for easy use.
