Turning A Shader?

Was applying a tartan shader to a skirt, but the pattern was skewed up at an odd angle. How does one turn it in any one specific direction?

There is toward the bottom of the list of Surfaces properties, X & Y scales and also X & Y angles (although they may refer to it as rotation (as in rotating the angle from the default of 0 degrees).
On which shader?
Nothing for X and Y values. This is Iray, not 3Delight, if that helps?
There is an 'angle' heading, but altering that changed absolutely nothing.
The LIE lets you turn textures.
Isn't that limited to 90-degree turns? If you want to rotate something a little, I don't think Studio has that option - you'd need to take the maps into a 2D-editor (I'd love it if we could freely rotate in Studio).
My shader, https://www.daz3d.com/oso-shader-pack-1-for-iray , has a rotation dial.
Free rotation? You ought to put that on the description blurb (unless it's already there and I'm just being blindspotted today).
Wishlisted until I can haz moniez.
I should have. ;)
Tip:
It's a brick shader. If you JUST want a single image, set Number of Rows/Columns to 1 each, and Grout Width/Height to 0.
Also Tile Color Mix scale to 0 (it adds dirt/noise otherwise)
The actual dial is Tile Rotation; the units are degrees.
Well I don't know names of the surfaces that were grouped on what he's trying to apply the tartan pattern to but if for example he was using the Golf Shirt to apply a tartan texture pattern to in iRay on ClothingMain surface for example, towards the bottom of the various shader settings on ClothingMain is a variable called Angle though has a default value of 89.90 (I think 90.00 makes the texture disappear).
Are you looking at the smoothing angle? That is how DS decides whether an edge should be treated as sharp or counter-shaded to try to look as if the surface is curved - it has nothing to do with image rotation.
I'm trying to place a blue tartan shader on the skirt from this, to create a likeness of Jeanette Voerman from the classic 'Bloodlines' game (the costume is clearly inspired by her look, as is the associated hair, since they are almost identical). It's a more convincing result than just changing the base colour of the existing texture on it.

Changing the 'angle' setting doesn't seem to do anything, though. The shader applies to it, but instead of straight and level, it's skewed up at an angle. So, changing the base colour from white to blue is a work-around, but it's a shame that an Iray shader can't be slightly rotated.
