How to easily add pose slider to a pose.duf ?

TheCedizTheCediz Posts: 172

Meaning, let's say my character has a slumped posture and I have adjusted his abdomen and shoulder directly + some pose sliders. I'd like to save this set of dialed bones as a pose and add it to any pose.duf. At the moment saving my set as a pose override any pose.duf (by zeroing + apply said pose).

I can imagine saving the pose preset as a custom morph by exporting an obj and bringing it back, but mehh. There must be a simpler way?

Hopefully someone who understands controllers and ERC freeze will explain how to create a controller 'morph' to set the bones positions.

    1. Apply your pose to a zeroed figure
    2. Right-click in the Parameters pane and select Edit Mode, if not already checked
    3. Right-click in the group you want to add the control to and select Create New Property
    4. Give the property a name and label, and set the Type to Modifier/Pose, then click Accept
    5. Right-click on the new slider and selected ERC Freeze, double check that the Sub Components list is just the things used to create the pose, and click Accept

Test, if happy either save as a scene subset or, if you want the control available universally, File>Save As>Support Assets>Morph Asset and select the pose control (the Author and product names generate the folder name used for the asset files in /Data/...figure.../Morphs).
