Is it possible to request a license or commission / how do I contact a creator?

There's a Daz3D creator that has created an asset that I would either like to A) purchase a commercial license for, or B) commission them to create something similar for me and grant me a license to re-distribute commercially.

I'm not sure if that's an appropriate question to ask, and for starters, I can't seem to figure out any way to contact a creator on daz3d.com.  Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

As well as anyone else interested in taking on the job.  The particular asset I'm interested in is the cat ears/tail from this pack: https://www.daz3d.com/thistle-for-posey-and-petunia

What do you mean by a Commercial License?

When you purchase a product from the Daz store you are actually purchasing a license to use that product,  the vendor still owns the actual product. No one but the vendor or Daz can legally redistribute any product purchased from the Daz Store.   The EULA explains what can be done with it.  There is also an interactive License availalbe on the store page which has it's own EULA,   this is mainly for creating games.

If you need any further clarification we suggest that you should contact Customer Service by filing a help request     On that page make sure you are logged in by ticking the box in the top right hand corner

  • I don't think I needed clarification, but that didn't help me at all with contacting the creator, or letting me know where to start in finding someone to commission new piece from.

Daz acts as a go-between for PAs and their customers unless the PA happens to frequent the forums. Lady Littlefox does. Her latest thread is here. https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/351526/plushies-2-0/p1 You might try to message her. Not all PAs frequent the forums.
