    In the commercial thread, AM mentioned a Lynx, which is kind of a middle ground between a big cat and a housecat.

    Nice, and I'd love one, but not even close to the same thing. Lynx have exceptionally long legs compared to a housecat as well as a bobbed tail and tufted ears. Granted, some of that may be changed easily, but body shape would be an issue.

    I just want a kitty that's the correct shape - head that's triangular rather than round, ears on the top of its head rather than the sides, and ears pointed rather than rounded unlike the only other newer alternative we have at the moment. :)

    I want to hug the lion, which is probably not a good idea in general.

    Is there any tiny weeny shred of hope that we'll see a wildcat? Maybe as an add-on for a Cat 8?
