Can I reset my layout to it's original state. then reload it

Can I reset My layout, or deleat my info on both side of my layout, example delete Simulation Setting for example. I have it so full, I can't load anymore info on eather sides. I'd like to delete some of the extras, of  reset the way it origal set up so I can reload what want. I haven't seen any thing on that that worked.

    Window>Workspace>Select layout

    When I do that all the tools show up on the both sides of those pannels. I would like do delete a couple I added that went in the wrong area, I'm probably the only on e that has done that, but thas my problem, I have trouble with space, I know there are arrow that lets you slide up and down but it would be great if I could delete them like you do a characture and add them on the sides where you want them, I folled the tut, on how to do that but, it loaded where it decided.

    right click each tab you want to get rid of. Select close pane.

    and once you have the layout you want save it - Window>Workspace>Save Layout As...
