The right pose to me looks like the use of a pose control from this product:

Dial in the Torso Natural Pose to 100%, and you will get a pose very similar (if not identical) to the one shown. You can then use a script(included with the product) to convert it into a standard pose (ie of the bones) rather than a pose control.
