Anyone know where this neckpiece asset is from?

Hi! I was looking at Snowflake for Aiko and notiiced this lovely neckpiece she was wearing. Does anyone know if it's an asst that you can buy in the Daz store?

I think it was inspired by a pieice my friend (fashion designer Mother of London) made. The belolw is a photograph I took of one of the pieces:

I think it would be fun to try and recreate some of my photos in 3D using Daz, and I was wondering if anyone could help me track down the asset for my scene.

Thank you all!

Hmm.  It comes full circle.  The piece itself was apparently inspired by photographs on Model Mayhem

  • It came out in Februaruy of 2008 and retired a few years later. You can still see one image of the set where it was sold here.

Another Mother of London-inspired outfit found in the Daz store, the Sybil outfit:

Here is the piece in real life:

Love the beautiful craftsmanship of the Daz store item but wish that creators would credit the independant designers they draw from. I think it's important to cite inspirations.

It's highly likely then that it was inspired by my either mine or my friend's page, as we were some of tbe earliest users on MM when it first launched circa 2005! A variation of that neckpiece has been my main profile image since 2008 or so: https://www.modelmayhem.com/1349

Also, here's the Mother of London page: https://www.modelmayhem.com/mother

Aery does credit Mother of London, which is awesome.

Thanks everyone for their deep knowledge of Daz lore and for pointing me to the right place!
