It appears that the name "Lolita" is now verboten in Daztopia. I use the Products folder rather than the legacy system to locate content, and I discovered that the names of some products had been changed. I thought I might have misremembered, but a search for "Lolita" yielded zero results. So, I checked some other items I remembered had "Lolita" in the name, and they too had been changed.
Lolita for Aiko 7 is now "Nola." Gothic Lolita is now "Goth Girl." Lolita Gothic is now "Studded Goth." Lolita Kimono is now "Kawaii Kimono," and Lolita Akane is now simply "Akane." Of course, it's understandable that the connotation of "Lolita" is contrary to Daz's policies, but I hadn't heard it mentioned; so, I thought I would let you guys know. We have always been at war with Eurasia.

I think we should discuss this in Room 101.
I still have Gothic Lolipop in my wishlist...they should really do something about it
This is going to lead to a wave of lolilessness.
Unless someone makes Lolina 8
Lolina 8 is a kawaii emoji-girl whose default facial expression looks like this: XD only not sideways.
Doubleplusungood
That's pretty random name replacement. Should have picked one word/name to replace the 'unword' with and stuck to it.
Anyone have the latest issue of Newspeak?
Bet they don't stop selling Gothic L*lita outfits though, a pig by any other name is still in a frilly black lace dress.
apparently PayPal etc will not process orders for content with such names in case it's CP
read this fast, it will go
Please don't blame Daz. An experiment, Use the search string - What is wrong with the name Lolita - in Google and see what the first result up is
I literally just installed DuckDuckGo, and the first result is from a site called "Short kids' stories."
I did say Google, which I think is still the most used search engine, even has a verb attached to it. How many times have you seen people say they Googled it.
I know, I was just amused (and a little creeped out) at what DuckDuckGo presented as their top result.
Actually it was mentioned, and discussed at length, a little while back.
Here's another hint. Do NOT Google it at work. :)
This is obviously a topic that's likely to get into hot water, as witness the posts that hav already been trimmed, so I have closed it.
