Adding a non-tiling image like a logo on top of a tiling image

Hi! I'd like to put a logo on a yoga mat. That mat currently has a tiling image, but the logo should go in a certain position. Is it possible to layer the material, or would i have to put a transparent primitive on top of the mat?

In Iray using the Iray Uber Base shader you can set tiling per-image - in the Surfaces pane click the micro-thumbnail for the map on the property and select Image Editor. Iray also has decals which can be used to project an image onto a surface (Create>New Iray Decal). For 3Delight it would require a custom shader, I fear.

Usiing a geoshell for the logo should work for 3DL.

Not that I am aware of, though I've not tried. I think you might also have issues using Geoemtry Shells on nstances, though again I've not tried.
