Daz Studio Plugins Cache - Can I change the folder location?

I recently installed Look At My Hair and the LAMH Catalyzer and discovered they're both storing their cache files in the "My Document\Daz 3D\Studio" location which is automatically backed up to my OneDrive... which I don't want to happen. Is there a way to move the default Daz Studio plugins cache to another storage folder location? I haven't been able to find anything related to plugin storage in install manager or Studio itself.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

  • Unfortunately both of these plug-ins use a path that is returned by DS, almost always as My Document\Daz 3D\Studio or the equivalent, which forces the folder to be created even if your content all lives elsewhere. It isn't configurable, as far as I know, and I'm not sure a script could be used to change the base setting in DS (I will look later).

You could try using symbolic links, to fool into thinking it really is there when infact it is where you really want it.
