I'm getting this when trying to post a reply in a thread, but I was able to post this. Any idea what is happening?
(No, the thread (polar bear one) isn't locked)

It was either too short... posted before... or both. Even just adding a space will work most times when that happens, the front the best place as the end would get dropped and not work.

line break works as well (enter key)

Three words is too short? :bug:

It really depends on what 3 words they are. This forum software appears to have a built in spam filter, and reacts on what it sees as typical spambot type messages, as well as on messages that have been repeated a few times.

Just to make you laugh. I can no longer just type ''Moved to the commons because it is a request for, not an offer of, a freebie'' because I have already used it umpteen times. lol

    I see... :)
So I can't just say "thank you", I have to make a whole speech...
(Problem is I'm posting from my phone, where typing is kind of tedious...)
Oh well. Thank you for your time.

No, as we said a couple of line breaks or spaces tend to help.I will show you in the next post

a word or sentence can only ever be used once on this forum
a second repeat and it is detected as spam
we have been slowly grabbing all the good ones!!
leaving stuff like thankies muchies, ta muchly wutchly, gr8 mate etc
    on the brightside
    you CAN
    post qwertyuiop or something random
then go BACK and edit it AFTER posting to say "thanks"

    That sure stops spammers... %-P
For they always post the same simple phrase, not some endless lists of ever-changing URLs embedded in some random text...
    Oh well.

I found that I get this allot of the times if it's a really short sentence that ends with emoticon code at the end. Just another bug I hope will not follow over to the new forums when they go live. These forums are every bit as bad as the ones we left behind supposedly glued together with string and gum as been noted way back then! lol

Nobody says it was perfect, in fact nobody said this forum software was perfect.

Good job we are going to be moving to better forum software sometime so....umm ...in the not too distant future. :coolsmirk:

Please tell me that you did not have to go back and edit that as it was detected as a 'common' phrase ;)
