Viewport or UI can't have a both

I probably did something wrong and now DAZ studio only shows me the UI or the Viewport. I can switch from one to the other using shift+11. But that's not very useful. I did a full reset of the style (set to darkside) but that didn't help.. Can anybody help me to see the viewport in the UI again?

    Do you mean shift F11? That sets the Active viewport to full screen, hiding the panes. It sounds as if your Viewport has been undocked and moved off screen, or perhaps it's still there but docked in a group showing another pane and you are not seeing its tab.

    Style won't help, that just changes the "chrome", but Window>Workspace>Select Layout will let you load one of the presets (or a layout of your own that you had saved). You could also use the Window>Workspace>Off Screen Pane (Tab) Groups to recentre the Viewport if it is off-screen.

    Thanks for answering me. Window>Workspace>Off Screen Pane is empty. Burt your answer made me delve deeper in the Window menu. I noticed the viewport tab wasn't active and activated it. That solved the problem.

    I don't remember having done anything  to the Tabs menu, though.

    Panes can be closed from their option menu.
