If you go back to my previous posts you will see instances where PAs have misspelled THEIR OWN PA NAME.

I am not talking rocket science here. Just basic error checking.

And not matter how careful the vendor, their beta testers and Q&A, mistakes will happen and things will get missed. It's part of being human.

Here's the problem, and it's been said before:

You will not GET consistancy because everyone thinks their way is best. This is a bunch of self employed individuals with a few working directly for a company, not a single monolithic business. While DAZ can require one thing, Rendo and RDNA and Hivewire and everyone else, and even the individual merchants there, will do things how THEY want to do it.

All I am suggesting is that DAZ enforce some basic standards. Not some magical cross supplier functionality.

If not that, provide users with better tools to organize the mess.

Understood. That was just one of the symptoms of the disease. I was taking umbrage with all the "you must be installing wrong" and no OS spell checker comments.

I wasn't implying any one individual was installing anything incorrectly. I was questioning if the problem of files not ending up in the correct folders was a result of the DIM installing them incorrectly.
