I'm starting a thread for Battlestar Galactica freebies for DAZ Studio. Please don't post any links to 3ds or obj versions.
First up, the Colonial Viper MKII.
Includes an opening canopy (with a Pose Control dial) and all materials use Iray shaders. No landing gear is included.
Original model by Sean Kennedy and converted with permission.

Hope see more Red Dwarf stuff, like the Scutters we saw.
nice work, btw
You'll need to communicate with Dodger as the Skutter was his work. This Viper was somebody else's efforts.
Sincerely,
Bill
I don't remember seeing Red Dwarf or Scutters in Battlestar Galactica, but it's been a while since I watched the show.
And here's the Cylon Raider:
Model Features:
* DAZ Studio prop: dsf, duf/ png, with 46,279 polygons.
* One color map and one specular map, at 4096x4096 pixels.
* All of the materials use Iray shaders.
Original model by Chris Kuhn and converted with permission.
Pretty sure they didn't. They did briefly have a Firefly class ship from.... well... Firefly, though, as a sort of inside joke. It flew by in city air traffic in the background in one scene in the miniseries.
@VanishingPoint
I know that this post was from way back, but any chance that the clothing for BSG characters are available
I can probably figure out something for the shirts, but what about the belts and fatigue pants
I have used the following for the jacket, but I would rather have something look more like the real thing

Thanks in advance
I've never tried to kitbash BSG although I'm a big fan. I think the combat uniform trousers would be pretty doable if you can find good reference photos. Which I did. These are a lot like the BDU pants I wore in the 90s and still wear as a civilian now. The belt loops are different, as is the belt. The fly closure is different but not so's it would make a difference in this context. The equipment belt should be easy to put together. What trips me up is your next comment about the jacket, which is a different uniform so I'm wondering if we're both talking about the same thing. Are you looking for both the combat BDU trousers and the dress jacket?
