I have bought a few things here lately and they would not work in Daz 4.10, so against my better judgement, I downloaded 4.11 which runs real slow on my pooter. Before some things I bought would not load, only a grey square box, after going back to the sale page, I then noticed that in small letters under compatability it said Daz 4.11. That sucked because it has happened to me three times so far. Needs to be said in the description of the item being sold. Anyway, my problem now is, when I load a hair I bought, it now loads but with no textures. It gives and error message that I need "DForce essentials" that are missing. What the hey? How do I get these so I can get my hairs to load textures? So frustrating! Ireally was happy with 4.10 and it worked real good.

Can anyone direct me to these required DForce essential files needed?

    Search your own product library for "dForce Starter Essentials" - it's free and comes with Daz Studio.

    To do that - click the blue person icon at the top right of this site, select My Account then Product Library and you can search for it.

    I found the download for it with the Daz 4 pro I had. So I redownloaded just the DForce essentials. I installed them and now the hair loads fine and has it's yextures. Thanks for the help.

    The error prompt says I don't have it and need it for the textures to load. So, if I find it...then what? I have tons of DForce clothing that load the textures just fine, it's only hair that won't load the textures. I even upgraded my Daz 4.10 to 4.11 to see if that corrected it. Well, the hair loads now instead of the grey box, but no textures. Gonna try loading the textures manually and see what happens.

    The error is saying that you don't have it installed.  You have it in your Daz account, ready to download and add to Daz Studio.

    You can use the DIM, connect, or manually drag and drop into the library. Just got to grab and install, it's like all the genesis starter essentials, only for dforce stuffs.
