How to know how large a scene is

I was wondering how to find the size of a scene before rendering it? I’ve right clicked the property tab of the scene I’ve put together in explorer and it reads as 2.78 gigs. Is this the correct size of the scene or does DS read the total size differently?
My scenes are not huge or really complex they render up in a hour or so but it would still be good to get and idea of the scene size before rendering.
I hope you guys understand my question lol.
thanks

2.78 GB, is that the file size (that doesn't say anything about the scene size in DS)? The largest one I have is 98 MB. Anyway, there are some tools here that may help:

https://www.daz3d.com/scene-optimizer

There isn't any way to know how much memory a scene will use other than to offer it up to Iray, I'm afraid.
Wonder the same thing myself but never dug very far into it.
But, to not have that as a basic tool, or have to shell out $30 to get that info?
I bring my Daz assets into Lightwave, a much less frustrating UI. I just tap the W key. It'll change considerably depending on the current draw mode.
Someone must have a script or secret incantation for this.
GPU-Z is a must have though. Trying to render Iray on my Win7 system, I'd have to monitor temps & fan speeds with the utility so I could abort a tenth of a degree short of system shutting down.
I have both GPU-Z and the scene Optimizer ( which duh I forgot it was there) I just need to understand how to really use the optimizer. Thank for your insights friends.
