If anyone else runs into this problem, we were able to get it figured out a couple weeks ago. I was told it was caused by "Duplicate Formula IDs" in Daz Studio. In my experience "Duplicate Formula IDs" are caused by Daz Studio content being installed incorrectly, or the same content being installed in multiple locations.
I realized there was a bug where the "HK definition is not recognized" dialog box would come up even when using a supported HIK definition if the hair or other figure support item had its own joints. I fixed this in the version 1.2 upddate that should have went live yesterday. Here are the full update notes:
Version 1.2 Update Notes:
Hi,
It seems like only a fraction of my installed poses are found by your plugin.
The content directories are set up and all poses are availbe within DAZ It doesn't look like the plugin is going through the content directory entries to find the "pose" folders within them.
Here is one of the entries in the content directory (the first one actually):
G:\DAZ\LargeLibrary
Within the folder is this:
G:\DAZ\LargeLibrary\People\Genesis 8 Female\Poses
None of those dozens of poses show up in the plugin though.
Any ideas?
Hi!
Are you using the latest version of the plug-in, version 1.2? Are you running on Windows or MacOS?
Is the "G:\DAZ\LargeLibrary" a "Daz Studio Formats" Content Directory? Are there any folders inside "G:\DAZ\LargeLibrary\People\Genesis 8 Female\Poses" folder?
You can also email me your response. I would get a notification and be able to respond to you faster. [email protected]
I don't get any kind of notification when people post in this thread and only become aware of the posts if I randomly decide to check....
Will do, thanks!
For anyone else that may run into this problem, we got it figured out.
All the content directories were defined in the Daz Studio Public Build (the beta version), so my Pose Library wasn't finding them.
I'm not sure how I want to go about implementing a toggle into my plug-in, but in the meantime, if anyone else runs into this problem feel free to email me and I can send a quick fix.
Have you checked https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/serialnumbers ?
Yes i find key! Thank you very much!!!
Anybody know how to set the path it tries to find poses on? I have my own library folders for my own poses, not in the Daz3d one.
