?? Is there a way to save several forum threads separately from forum ??

There are several forum threads that I'd like access to even when I don't have internet connection.  For example, tutorials and walk-throughs.  Is there a utility that will download an entire forum thread for use offline?  I'd like to have access to screenshots and other materials linked and uploaded to the threads.

You could save the page locally to your computer (CTRL + S). When you do, choose "Complete" as the type, that will save the images as well.

    Thank you for your reply.

Do I have to save (Control S) each page individually?  Is there a way to get the whole thread at once?

You could try the 'Save as PDF' function if you are logged into the DAZ forums on your iPhone in Safari or your Android phone in Chrome. I think there are various smart phone apps that save browser content as PDFs as well if you look for them.

Thank you.  I will look for save as pdf options.

RE: using control S - hiccup - when I disconnect from the internet and try to load the page in Edge or Chrome, the page flashes (loads momentarily) and then becomes a sign-out error.  There must be a setting to tell the web browsers to work offline that I am missing.

Well that seems to be the browser didn't translate the saved html page to use a FILE as url but I can't be sure without seeing the html source of the file it translated & saved

    Cool avatar!

  • I'd recommend the save as pdf idea - there should be an add-on available I use one (on Firefox) to save interesting thread info in a Daz Studio hints and Tuts folder for easy reference

It's not just for when offline, sometimes you forget where or lose a link in a huge bookmark folder.

Most tutorials or juicy info is usually on the first page of a daz forum thread and the rest of the discussion is often pictures of cats or renders of cats*.

    * Sorry people, that's a generalisation, but still sort of true.

I saved all the Digital Carvers pages as full webpages easily enough just on Chrome  but these forums need signing in in so might be different especially with the webp images and cloud flare hosting.

OK, the error I was getting said something about signing in.  Must be related to that.
