Hiding lights in Iray?

So, the following scenario happens to me a lot:

I set up a scene. Get the characters posed, apply lighting and it looks wonderful but then I notice:

I have to change light angles because mesh lights are visible in the render. Or they're reflected in a characters eyes, or in a window/mirror etc.

Is there a good way to make these lights "invisible" but still emit light?

You could start trying with setting the opacity on the mesh light material to a really low number (like 0.00001). It may not solve all problems, but you'll propably get a long way.....

I'll give that a try. I like to use the boss pro set as it seems to give interesting light setups but the mesh boxes are far too easy to see from many angles, especially as I do widescreen renders.
