Is there an issue with decals in 4.11? Iray wound kit. [Solved, User Error] OOPSIE!

Hy All,

Ive been trying to get https://www.daz3d.com/iray-wound-kit and https://www.daz3d.com/wetfx-decal--shader-kit working for over an hour now and im getting no results at all. Ive rotated the decals every which way I could just to make sure that they were facing the right direction but im still getting zip. Might just be me. Can someone confirm? Thanks.

    Have you tried a render as they will not show up in viewport.

    Iray preview will show it. Make sure the Z-axis (the blue one) is pointing away from the surface, and that the whole decal isn't below the surface.

    Yah. Something is not right. In preview and rendered im getting nothing. Neither the setup nor any of the effect mats are showing. Not only that, but my preview mode isnt working correctly when I have the decal on screen.

    I sent KA a message. He should be able to clear things up.

    Iray wound kit works fine in 4.11 for me in both preview and render window.  Are you sure you have the decal parented to the correct object?

    Yah, parented, z axis facing away from the model... Oh, there it is. Apparently I had the projector too far away from the model. Looks like another user error folks! surprise Thanks for the help everyone. I guess I just needed a little bit of a memory jog.laugh
