REQ: Can we get rainbow stuff for the guys?

I love Party Monster. I love it, it is by far my favorite outfit for any Genesis 8 character. Can we get something like that for the guys? Either make the original outfit compatible, or some running shorts, or whatever. Guys are missing colorful/glowing outfits in general. I use Color Rave on pretty much all hairstyles (I love how it makes hair almost look like a tropical bird's feathers), and am a big fan of eye-searing color in a lot (but not always all) of my work, and the store is sorely lacking in this department for guys of all generations.

Thanks!

What's wrong with using shaders on the existing clothing?

UV mapping, often. Also tiling shaders mean you lose details that are part of textures. Also just a lack of clothing that would go with the other clothing set in question. We have how many variations on bikinis for each generation of VIctoria, don't see how this isn't a reasonable request.

Yeah, well, there are not five million texture addon packs for the five billion Victoria swimsuits, and people interested in seeing them with a different texture are usually expected to roll their own or use shader presets (maybe leaving the trim surfaces alone if they're concerned about losing details).

I don't have anything useful to say about Clothes That Do Or Do Not Match Party Monster because I'm not into that scene myself and don't know what a guy would be wearing at the event where the women dressed like that. I am only addressing "why don't men have brightly colored clothes in the store" when frankly, even the women's clothes in recent years tend towards rather meh color schemes, unless specifically themed to anime or Kpop.

It actually fits the boys fairly well with autofit and I just threw on some shorts under it and used the shaders from the bundle on them lol

Surely it's not too hard to apply a rainbow and a mesh-style opacity map to existing garments? Cooking up something right now, just for fun. Will post in a bit.

was thinking the same thing, although none of the males in my runtimes would be caught dead wearing rainbow anything, LOL

I am a bit confused do they want rainbow textures or frilly tutu’s for the guys?

texture you could just take the originals and use an image editor to swap out the colours for more rainbow ones or export UV templates from a UV editor to create guides for your own

I think they just want colorful clothing like tie-dye t-shirts & such, neon bright clothing, and some types of modern Western clothing (as in country pop-culture cowboy) and hip-hop clothing can be pretty loud too. Modern disco type clubbing clothing.

    Ta-dah!

C'mon Wendy & FSMC, get into it!

Shorts, Tank, Shoes, and Bunny Ears.

Yes, the rainbow texture is awfully low-res. You will get better results if you spend more than literally 10 minutes on it wink
