has anyone figured out how to make pants/underwear fall to the floor with dforce?

this was mentioned in a dforce thread but i can't figure how how to do this.

i'm talking about having pants or underwear slide down the figures legs and to the floor.

any ideas?

    Have you tried unparenting?

First the clothing item needs to not have any weight mapping built in (or parts with dynamics strength set to 0)

Second the item needs to be large enough at the waist to fit around the hips and but without stretching (as soon as the clothing item starts stretching it causes friction and it stops sliding)

You should be able to mess with the friction setting for the item to get it to more easily slide when against neighboring surfaces. (lower is slipperier)

Also, you can load a dforce item into a blank scene and test it to make sure that it will fall.  then see if there is anything that you can do to fix any issues that show up.

We discussed this topic over here. Maybe some info there will help you, too.
