How do I duplicate an item?

I arrarnged a rock and put it where I want it. I would like to duplicate it a drag it to another location. How do I do that?

In the Edit menu, there is a Duplicate command.

Though if the rock is going to be the same but for placement (and perhaps scale) you might want to use Create>New Node Instance, especially if you are going to make several duplicates.
