How long do you wait for a Gift Card to show up in your inbox?

It's such a long time ago that I bought a Gift Card ... years, in fact (not much time for rendering due to personal ... fun).

I bought one for myself yesterday at the sale (niiiice) - not so nice is that it still didn't show up in my inbox.

Yes, I made sure the recipient email adress is correct. Yes, I did look in my spam folder - nothing ...

So - how long do you have to wait nowadays for a Gift Card?

    I have them show up in my email within 15 minutes most of the time.
    And once I had to wait almost an hour. So, as far as I know at least within a day.

    Every once in a while there is a glitch. If you haven't gotten it after a few hours, I would put in a ticket and let them know. They can look into it and see the ticket if it was generated. In any case, they will get you squared away.

    Be careful entering the correct email address for the receiver, otherwise it may end up in some unknown person's mailbox (not sure what happens if the email address is invalid which it probably will be in most cases if you make a typo).

    ETA: (sorry, somehow overlooked your comment about that - been multitasking my brains out today...  frown )

    I buy a couple of gift cards per year to get the discount.  For the last several years, I always have to submit a ticket to get the code.  I once tried waiting for almost two weeks, just to see if I was being impatient.  I asked if I was doing something wrong, and was told I was not.

    Thank you - now I don't feel that alone. It's not me, it's Daz ... LOL

    I am curious how long it takes them to answer my request. Like I said - it's the weekend. Why do they have sales on Fridays? Sniff. wink

    Mine auto fills with my email and yes get within 5minutes but never works first, second....... fifth go!

    Eventually either does or a second code comes in another gmail devil

    Within a minute and I have bought plenty of them; time before last (few weeks ago), it never showed, or still hasn't but CS sorted it very quickly.

    I've been buying GC's approximately once a month for over 8 years (that's the way I budget - at least 100 bought so far) and in all that time I've only once had the code not turn up (ticket required to solve it).

    Incidentally I never (fingers crossed for next time!) had that duplicate email code problem - I wonder why they plague some people and not others?

    I always get my gift cards within a few minutes, usually at the same time I get the email confirming the order. Don't remember ever having a problem.

    I would check if the email is going to the junk or spam.

    Looks like there is an issue ...

    Never had one of those before, but who knows what happened to the store in the last two years. During these two years I only bought things with store credit from Gift cards I bought years ago, and not that many things ...
