Can I lock a camera in place?

When I create a scene sometimes I jump back and forth between my cameras and perspective view where I move the view around the scene.

Too many times I end up moving a camera that I placed exactly where I wanted it.. is there a way to place a camera then lock it (meaning either the movement controls wont function as long a my perspective is that camera, or I can move perspective, but the camera stays where it was placed).

Thanks!

You can lock any parameter in the parameters pane flyout menu (lock selected item)

With the camera selected, right click Parameter, Lock, Lock Selected Node.

My advice, save a temporary Camera setting - merge it back in if you mess it up; plus it's then available if needed again.

elegant idea. I usually lock my cameras, but this is a simple win!
