Will DS update if I update DIM?

I opened DIM to install some new product and it said it required an update and I immediately shut it down. I am not ready to update to 4,11 and need to know if I allow it to update DIM do I have any issues?

Well I guess everything is possible in DAZ universe, but no that shouldn't happen. I updated DIM a couple of days ago and my 4.9 is still untouched:)

I recently launched DIM the other day and received a message it wanted to install an update to DIM. I let it update and DIM restarted to version 1.2.0.27 (64-bit)
