Error while rendering issue in actual render, but not preview

Hi -

Why would DAZ throw an "Error While Rendering" in the actual render, but render the Iray preview in the Aux Viweport okay? The scene is rather heady as I'm using a Skinchangers werewolf with hair, but I just can't seem to pinpoint the source of the problem. Getting ready to abandon this whole concept and move on in frustration. Computer's just locking up now. Any suggestions welcome!

    The render itself uses Render Settings for its options, the preview uses Draw Settings - it may be that there is a significant difference between the two.

    I've put in a ticket asking for a credit or refund. After four hours of troubleshooting, I have determined that the referenced product has some sort of bug and does not work.
