keep loosing the scripts menu

this has been a problem on an off with Studio for me.

when i create a "custom action" to load a figure or apply a shader from my content area a nice "scripts" menu is added to the app.

however this thing seems to vanish every so often when i start the application, leaving me to rebuild the menu again (and again, and again).

i have tried to update and merg menus, but to no effect.

what am i doing wrong here?

i did make a new menu in the main menu bat,  and then found the "custom" actions and dragged them on over one at a time to my new bar. then save the whole layout.

who knows if this will work

DS saves the layout (including menus and custom actions) on close - if something goes wrong, either in DS or system/security software restoring a previous version of the files, then the options may reset or revert. Saving the layout and/or backing up the DS AppSettings folder should be insurance - though if it's happening on a regular basis you do want to track down the cause.

I've had the same thing happen to me scripts folder disappears  ,still using 4.10.123 ,my work around is about once a month I resave my work space and use the date to name it .......so far so good
