How to import MTL-materials for OBJ format in DS 4.11

(EDIT: the original title was "How to download the old DS 4.10". New tags: mtl import.)
I have upgraded to 4.11, but currently I would like to go back to 4.10. (Main reason is, that stuff, that I had stored in wavefront obj file format does not longer load materials.)
Install Manager only offers 4.11 .
(Third party providers make offers of 4.10 download, but somehow I wondered what other stuff I might have to download from there or whether it would fit into the current DAZ organisation.)

Only the latest version of DS general release and beta are available for download, 4.10 is not available anymore.
Unless you saved a copy of the older version of DS, then the current version is all that you can d/l from DAZ
Thanks, you confirm, what my impression had been.
They would deliberately remove compatibilty with obj file format? That would be an harsh assumption. First I would like to check on errors on my side. Which is one reason, why I like to use 4.10 again. On the other hand, I have noticed, that when an xxx.obj is loaded, DS creates now an Uber-Shader instead of the most simple shader, that would better fit to what an mtl file can do. I wondered, whether this might have anything to do with the source of the problem.
Well, if it stored the texture information in an MTL file, those are basically just a text file and can be loaded in Notepad. Maybe go look at the file paths listed in there to see if something got mangled.
Geometry without any material settings get a "default" shader applied according to what render engine you are using in 4.11. This was a change so that simple geometry (planes, spheres, cubes, etc) would be simpler to get looking good in a render.
If you switch your selected renderer to 3Delight you should get that shader applied, so that is something you can check to see if it loads.
xyz.obj + xyz.mtl files, as you can find them here or there, can provide all kinds of difficulties. Typically, when I have assembled them into a satisfying solution, I store them from DS into a new obj file, with "collect maps" clicked. Then the maps should all be collected into a maps folder and the mtl should address the maps in the map folder. And it does. But DS 4.11 does not longer recognize, what 4.10 has stored.
This might be something you should report as a bug.

Oh thanks, this solves the problem. And with 3DL selected, it loads the simple shader again.
But now it seems, my question has the wrong title. Other people with the same problem may not find the answer.
You can chnage the title by editing the first post.
I have exactly the same problem with DS 4.11.
After I switched the render engine to 3Delight, I only get some materials loaded onto the imported .obj character. And the material for the hair is still not loaded !
What is going on ? It used to work just fine with DS 4.10 when it comes to import .obj with materials. Now, by default, you cannot load any materials even if you get everything correct with mtl file.
So I just updated today, and I am having the same issue, anybody have any clue what to do for this?
