Smart Content not installed?

I bought the RSSY clothing converters for V/M 4 to Genesis 8. When I tried to run the script, I got an error message saying that "The content management/smart content has to be installed to use this script."

So I look in the Smart Content pane, and there's nothing there. Something tells me maybe I need to log into the site to get the data, but then I get this:

I know this has probably been asked a brazillion times before, so just a link to a thread where it's solved would be of enormous help. angel

Do you get a complaint about no PostgreSQL connection when starting DS?

Yes! I forgot to mention that. blush I see the exact same message every time I open DS, but so far I haven't had any incentive to do anything about it.

That means either the PostgreSQL database, which does the work for the Content Management System, is not installed or it is installed but something (probably security software) is blocking DS from talking to it. If you look in Task Manager while DS is running do you see (usually) about half-a-dozen PostgreSQL processes?

Do you mean this thing here? My Windows is in Norwegian, but "Oppgavebehandling" roughly translates to Task Manager.

Click the Flere detaljer button at lower left and scroll to the Processes list, which shows things that don't appear on the Task Bar

There are no PostgreSQL processes listed anywhere that I can see. Lots of other stuff I had no idea was running (Like what the heck, I don't even have Skype?) but none of them had the letters SQL in the name.

    It looks like it is.

OK, the first is PostgreSQL (the second is a tool that converted your Valentina database, if you had one, to PostgreSQL). So, what security software are you using?

I've at least got Windows Defender going. I'm supposed to have Norton, but I've had some trouble with... computer stuff, and I may have accidentally deactivated or uninstalled it. The best course of actions is probably that I go to the shop where I bought the PC and the security package, and talk to them. Then I'll necro this topic after Monday. I really, really appreciate you taking time to help me, Richard! heart

Hmm, I'm using Norton (and MalwareBytes Pro) heer without issue, for what that is worth.
