Skin maps and face

So, the skin of my character is the basic skin of gen8 female. Now, there are many skin maps in several characters that add so much of realism into the basic skin and this leads me to a problem: every time I load 'all maps' or 'skin' material, my character indeed changes the skin material, but also resets the faces of my character [eye brows, eyes, basically, removes totally the make-up]. Since, the character I created is really, really customized it's almost impossible for me to redo her face again. This makes me doubt if I can ever make my character more realstic, since all of the realstic skin materials destroys my characters face, meaning destroys my characters itself, since she doesn't resemble herself anymore.  Is there any option to CHANGE JUST THE SKIN MAP while saving the current make-up/eyes/brows settings?

    That depends. If the elements are overlays (as a lot of the Daz make-up settings are) or applied via Layered materials then yes, they may apply to a different basic skin - if theya re modified versions of the base map then extractuing them will be harder (you could try placing the base map over the version with make-up in an image editor, setting the blend mode to difference, and use that as the basis for a mask to be used to apply the map with additions over a base skin map from another character set).
