Question on webdevelopers about DAZ and zendesk

Hi,

if I do

1.) clear cookie

2.) login to DAZ

3.) navigate to https://helpdaz.zendesk.com/requests/new in a separate browser tab

Then that page has me logged in.

How does helpdaz.zendesk.com access the browser cookies from daz3d.com, anybody know?

I assume that when you try to access Zendesk DAZ checks if you have a valid store login cookie and if, it gives you access, but I don't know the details. Zendesk creates its own cookie but I don't know what it does.
