Since the male just came out, chances are the female version will be out soon as well.

Edit - Never mind, it looks like it comes with the female shape preset:

Does anybody know, if the fur from this product can be simulated with dForce?

I have bought Pooka, but the changes to its fur after simulation are very small, almost unnoticeable.

    Glad you found your answer.

I have routinely been asked for female versions of my characters, even though female beast characters really do not sell well in the market. So I will be attempting a compromise and am creating female morphs  for a few creatures that I base on G8 Male. It is a compromise in an attempt to fill that hole for female character.

Thank you for this, Rawart. (For Sasquatch, and for providing the female morph!)

wow very good news, i really love your works and indeed my only issue aways was the "one gender" of most of them in the G8 because when looking in the past(G3 and under)  of your works, most of the times you had made a "male and female" and now seeying you making a "single gender(male or female) most of the times make me sad.

Its all about learning your customer base...finding what they like (ie. what sells) and what they don't, and catering to that.

There are some "creatures" where a female version may work, and then I will do it, but some cases it just wont work.

Then there are times where a thing will work better as a female, so I have been exploring them alot this year too.

There is alot of trial and error seeing what will and wont sell.

  • Well, now I have to ask - where is Bigfoot's big...anotomical element? It says it comes with that, but I don't see it in the, um, package!

It comes with textures for it, not the part itself.

If you apply the part from your library and then apply the textures, it should all be good

  • Well, yes, I understand that the actual...item...would not be included, but I am having trouble finding how I apply the texture. When I click on the 'element' and then click on the fur, nothing happens.

  • Actually, scratch that, I found it. Had to click on the Iray Mat.

the "anatomic elements" texture is just for "male" or you also make one for "female"??, this is something i noticed, you rarelly make "anatomical elements textures", specially for female.

about the previous "gender topic", i'm also learning in try to fix this for myself, the "only one gender issue" after learn how to create some basic morphs, the only current issue is the fact which G3 and G8 male and female don't share the same "body UV", which means you can't use a female texture on a male or the oposite unlike G2 where they could use the same UV making easy to use the oposite texture on the other character, i did that for the reptilian G2 created my own female version and using the male textures, it work perfect, would be really good and awesome see you add at last a "female morph" to old male characters, the only issue would be lack of "female moprhs" like breast morphs but not really a big deal and better than nothing

    keep the awesome work.

no..there are no textures for the female because the geografted female parts will not fit on the male

and I make anatomical element textures for almost every character I make male and female

With all that fur I am terrified about what sort of renders people are intending  doing with the female morph, not that I should judge just the mind boggles

Can the hair be tweeked in Daz? ie can the hair be grown longer or shaved in areas using the "edit strand based hair"? Maybe Squach wants to wear a shirt. :D  If it's kit friendly I'd definetly be interested in this product.

I totally didn’t understand the thread title...

I was going to suggest BigfootAndMe... it’s like a totally legit Sasquatch dating site for those into the Bigfoot scene... but yeah... never mind.

Believe it or not, I only know about Bigfoot erotica because I'm a politics junkie and a sitting US congressman got involved in a mini-scandal about it!

I didn't realise what Mulder and Scully were up to, all those years ago. I don't want to believe.

Oddly enough, when I was gathering references for this project, I did come across some of those bigfoot books and had a laugh with other PA's about it ... it is a weird world (and apparently I contribute to it...saw some pics with my old bigfoot set o.O )

You cannot go back to strand hair and edit it.

I have had some "ok" results with simulating the hair without the clothes then adjusting the clothes to fit on top.

But in my opinion, I would personally render twice, once with fur and once without and then crop accordingly in photoshop. Thats what I do for my personal artwork.
