is there an easy way to scroll through all Featured Artist Catalogs items like in previous sales (there it was by deselecting the artist in the filter)?
Current you have to click Featured Artist one by one. thats really annoying. Or am I wrong?

You can use the browser addon, that creates a link at the top for all of the artists. Or what I prefer to do is go to my wishlist, and sort by % off, that way stuff on sale are at the top, and I can easily add whatever is on sale to the cart.

Already I own more DAZ items than I can ever use. Whatever I buy, it's just hoarding a nice-to-have. So, I'm not buying with this code which is not working today. This store with all it's glitches is annoying.

Why does everyone keep saying it's the store? Most of these are down to what people do with the store. If the rules are not set up correctly in this store, then they will most likely not be set up correctly in any other store either. The sales are pretty complex, it's very easy to make a mistake when setting things up. The solution is not another store, but sales that are less complex--however I'm pretty sure most of us don't actually want that.

In this case People really equals The Store.  The store portion of the site is just a bunch of programming code that does X if you enter Y, and that should be straightforward enough except that DAZ seems insistant on never doing anything the same way twice and thus excels at finding new ways to break things.  Perhaps one could be more specific by saying Store Staff, but in this case it's just as likely that the root cause of a problem is  Marketing Staff, as I don't know of any other online vendor who runs so many sales so constantly with so many potentially conflicting variabe factors, especially when so many sales and promos seem to work incorrectly on a regular basis. If you have a device that explodes catastophically roughly once every ten times you reset the dials, most people would, at the very least, refrain from adjusting said dials or simply opt not to use that device at all. At DAZ, however, the solution seems to be to continue readjusting the dials willy-nilly, while keeping their now very charred and macerated fingers crossed...

Sure, but people keep saying they want a different store engine. Why? The only way I can imagine that would change things is if it were a worse engine, not capable of complex sales. Then there would be less chance to mess it up. Would people really want that? That can be done with the current engine, too.

However... I still remember when Daz stopped doing all those stacking sales that caused lots of issues (and lots of great deals for us ;)). Lots of people were sad or angry that the sales got less complex. We used to love those hiccups. Things got less complex, and many people got grumpy. Based on this experience, I do not think people would really be extremely happy if even this complexity of the sales vanished.

I tried with chrome out of curiosity, which didn't help; I'm a firefox user normally.

"Lots" of people in this case indicate the handful of us who regularly scan the store, post in the fourms and have the immediate cash on hand or credit to take advantage of those deals.  We have no idea how people who don't poost here reacted, and it's hard not to nocie that that DAZ has been slowly and carefully doing away with most of the stacking sales by not putting full-artist catalogs up for sale at advertised price.  There have been a couple of times recently where the same artist was listed in three different sales with "selected products", yet none of the product overlapped.

In any case, the current store software has proven that there are a lot of complex sales that it can do reliably but, and this is so often the case with marketing and advertising departments, there is an annoying trend to think of "New" and "Different" as synoymous with "better."  It's not true and the better books on marketing will quickly dispell this myth... the release of Blu-Ray, for example, only served to cannabalize the sales of DVDs on all but a handfull of "evergreen" titles while drastically increasing production costs and drastically cutting available store shelf space through the need to double stock titles in each format.  However, marketing people within companies often feel compelled to fall into drinking the new/different Kool-aid,even if what's currently being done is working perfectly well, as otherwise it looks like they're not doing anything and management starts wondering why they have so many people employed in marketing...

Also the % view is by the mentioned addon, I guess. I can only sort by price.

thanks @ evacyn for the summary link.  I guess it is also from such a browser addon.

Unfortunately you need such an addon for this 2019-premiere-artist-festival. So I leave them mostly this sale , save time and hope for a sale concept changed back to that before 2019-premiere-artist-festival.

  • Well, I lost two days of sales because of hurrcane Dorian and subsequent loss of power and internet access. Just got back on line on now todays SAH-WEET coupon doesn't even work. Grrr!!!!

  • The coupon is not working for me either.

Well, at least you're on the coupon list.  Those of us who are new to DAZ this year who haven't invested in a lot of 8 pro bundles (I have four), seem to be completely out of luck for purple banners at all.  The only one I received so far this sale was 10% off the Centaur 8 day because I own the Centaur 7 Female pro bundle.

You must have purchased ten G8 pro-bundles to enjoy purple banners.

Banner doesn't work for me, but as these sales are flat as a board. I don't care.

If DAZ doesn't give us good sales we will cheat on it with other sites, so I don't think they would dare to try to make the sales less tempting, less complex.

  • Heh, I was just going to ask you to try again - thanks for letting us know it's working.

Not exactly a sales error, but I bought the Mosaic Bundle yesterday and am unable download the templates for the outfit and the addon from my Product Library. I get this Cloudfare message (attached). I can download the actual outfit .zip files perfectly well, it just seems to be something about those templates. Anyone else seeing this?

Been cheating all along.  Some of the deals at the other site who's name must not be mentioned but rhymes with bend-oh have been crazy good.  :)

Ah, great - well, not so great exactly, but nice to know I've not been somehow personally blacklisted!

Can't find it, either. Getting Magento errors on 3 of the 4 lists at the bottom of the page, too.
