@algovincian, No offense was intended. I saw you were making a joke, and I was only trying to run with it.
In fact, I see my mistake now. For some reason I saw Centaur 7, but read Centaur 8. And now that I got that straight in my head, I have to agree, the discounts in both carts of that post appear to be wrong.
Looking at the prices in a private window, I see the discount as 52% for one, which means there is an addtional discount of 20% that has nothing to do with being a member. As a member, then, you should see the 50% stacking with that 20%, and also with your member 30% for a price of $37.79, or 72% off. When you add a qualifying new release to the cart, $37.79 should be cut in half for a total discount of 86% and a total price of $18.90.
At least the way the adcopy is written.

I was another victim of the Centaur 7 "get an EXTRA 50% OFF" debacle.
I was happily shopping yesterday evening, and after a quick meal, I had a $30 cart jump. Performed all the arcane rituals...
Finally figured out that the "Buy any Debut New Release OR Still New Release to get an EXTRA 50% OFF* These Special Featured Items" thing had turned itself off. Seriously? I've got 3 "new" and 5 "still new" items in my cart at the moment.
This stuff seems to happen every new sale. I wa considering actons ranging from going ahead with the cart as is and fighting DAZ for my $30.35 right up to dumping my cart and sitting out the PA sale. The customers should not have to have to reverse-engineer the sale discount algorithms so we can see where they broke and what the $ value of DAZ's error are, then fight DAZ support for a remedy. DAZ, you've really got to learn to appreciate the dollar value of ill will from when you break all this stuff. No matter which way we play this, there's going to be ill will.
The link to Taiyo on the main sales page still links to https://www.daz3d.com/ instead of to Taiyo's sales page.
The Taiyo link on the main store page works correctly for me in Chrome. The link on the PA Sale page also works correctly for me in Chrome.
I'm using Chrome. It's still not working for me and links to the front Daz3D page (just checked it again, still not working). I've checked it at least half a dozen times since the sales page showed up.
I've checked both the front shop page as well as the "It's a Horde" sales page. Both places the product links to the front "Daz3D.com" page.
I know there is a "workaround" to see the product's page (add it to the cart then click on the link there). However seeing as I'm not the only one who is having the issue and not everyone knows about that workaround, I thought I'd report it here, since the link not working for some might hurt it's sales.

So I was gone till now and came back to see that Daz had let us know that they had fixed things. I put together two carts. Each has the same item. A debut from today plus 4 items from the Special Featured items which includes the two Centaur 7 pro bundles. What I found was this:
Me not logged in so I am your customer without PC or anything and the discounts jumped from 40 to 50% on the morph products I selected and went from 52 to 60% on the Centaur 7 pro bundles. The debut item went to 50%. Note: the new item got a discount boost, it has no effect on the special featured.
Me as PC/PA logged in morph items went from 67 to 72%, the pro bundles from 74 to 78%. Debut, here, also did the same as in the non-logged in above.
One debut and one Special Featured (attached), the debut went to 50% and the Special Featured went to 60% on the selected morph item when not logged in.
When logged in, debut went to 50% and Special Featured went to 72% as expected (attached).
Not shown, the centaur 7 pro bundle plus debut gave the expected 60%, not logged, and 78% when logged in.
This all seems to be working. Is it working for everyone else? My understanding is max discount for non-PC in is 50-60%, 72-78% for PC/PA accounts. I remain unclear, but believe I get a bit more discount being a PA account which is why I list it that way in case PC alone is slightly different.
Hope I haven't messed up my explanation.

Robert, did you say you put in a ticket? Daz says it had been fixed, the tickets they were seeing were customers who bought the bundle before they fixed and made the hide items live. Could be some stragglers and should have a ticket made.
I looked, but have not seen a response on the Foalin' item yet.
In my cart, the Centaur 7 Male Pro is still showing at $34.00, which would be incorrect (should be $45.34 - 50% - extra 10% coupon), and the Muelsfell Atlantis Armor is not getting the extra 50% off, either, and is showing at $10.78 (should be 14.78 - 50% - 10% coupon). I have three of today's new items in my cart, so those should have triggered the discount. Sigh.

Edit, it's looking like if you're at $34 for the pro bundle, it may have been the max discount of 72% plus 10%.
I'm in the same boat. Extra 50% off for select items is not applying. I've tried having more that 2 New Releases from the Horde of New Breeds sale in my cart, no joy. Just want two of the new items though. Also a PC+ member.
Tried logging out and in, no help.
I'll try working on my cart again in about an hour. If not, I guess I'll just give up on this sale.

I dumped it and just bought one item I was interested in. All I can tell you is that yesterday when I was mulling the Centaur 7 Male Pro Bundle, with my purchase of the new combined 8 pro bundle, it was in my cart at $17- something. Same sale, same price should have applied; same 10% extra from the purple banner. I have no idea what max discount you are talking about, because I have found lots of items for more than 80% off in the past. And yes, I am a PC+ member. It's fine, just a bit frustrating to not have the sales working correctly. As the thread says, there is alway another sale. Thanks anyway, Cris.
This is where the confusion stems from. Out of curiosity, where on the sales page is the max discount of 72% mentioned?

The sale says this: you got 40% off get two to 50% off. (The centaur 7 pro bundle starts at 52% off because it's in another sale too. the PC puts it 30% lower, the buy 2 or more is bugged so it works with two item in your chart. (posted two chart because of it one with the two centaur G= bundle one with only one G7)

So it's (1-0,52)*(1-0,3)*(1-0,1) instead of (1-0,52)*(1-0,3)*(1-0,1)*(1-0,5) it's at 70% off instead of being 85% off.

For the head morphs $8.38 (-58%), for Centaur 7 pro bundle, $45.34 (-67%).
These are on their own in the store, not in the cart with anything else.

It's not. My understanding is the way the discounts stack, ends up with a particular discount. It's easier for me to see it on a cart for someone not in the PC. 40% and 50%. I'm not math-versed and so go by how it's explained to me. Further wrenches get in when there are like the 10% discount on-site. Plus, as a PA, I believe I have additional, thus my asking what are the prices a PC-member-only sees on the two items I asked about.

That may be, but that's not the case for everyone, obviously. Considering it's almost switch-over time, I guess it's not getting fixed... It's a shame. I'm sure having the link not working for everyone likely hurt it's release sales. :(

Cris, I suppose it's too late to get fixed today/tonight, but if you look at the cart screenshots from @algovincian you'll see that adding a Debut new release did not affect the cost of the two C7 pro bundles in his cart. The first screenshot showed both at 66% off, before and after adding Centaur Maxx to his cart. A later screenshot showed an increase in the discounts for both the C7 pro bundles and the Debut new release, but not the discount advertised on the sale page.
I don't know why the centaur 7 products in the Special Featured Items category showed a higher discount than the other items in the category, but the adcopy does specifically state "an additional 50% off" for buying a qualifying new release. I reverse engineered the discount and came to the conclusion the 40% event discount and the 30% member discount were being supplemented by an additional 20% discount. With two in the cart, the discount should have been 72% by my calculations, and that is the discount Greg was seeing, without a qualifying new release in his cart.
But when he added a qualifying new release, the discount on the C7 pro bundles didn't change. He wasn't getting the advertised additional 50% off. (I purchased something from the category Thursday, and the additional discount applied for me.) By my calculations, the C7 pro bundles should have been 86% off:
