Although I don't recall the product name, I remember one product that was pulled because the makeup, iirc, used trademarked names. It came back after the PA redid the maps so the names were all made up. Another PA had a product pulled that mimiced a set in a popular tv series and included imagery that was shown on the show. Once the imagery was reworked to something unique, the product was reactivated. It can be difficult for Daz QA to see these details, if they aren't familiar with the product or shows/movies that inspired the PA.
Elianeck does good work, so I suspect Marie Loo will be back in the store, once the issue, whatever it is, has been addressed.
I remember that set in fact I bought it and as then I still think that all of the PC bull makes it hard if you want something accurate in a theme even if it's fictional and not historic
That has nothing to do with political correctness. It has to do with copyright and legal costs.
Unfortunately, it's isn't PC Bull, but trademark and copyright infringement issues. "Fair use" will usually apply if you create fan-art that mimics copyrighted imagery, but the moment you make money off of that art, you get into the murky waters of infringement. Any content for sale needs to be free of such items, as it puts both Daz and the PA at risk for legal troubles.
@Sevrin I think that person is referring to the WW2 product that used authentic, historically accurate symbols that were later replaced with fictional ones.
The set that was pulled for a PC issue, was not due to copyright, but it had an authentic nazi banner in it.
It's illegal to use the swastika in an artistic context in Germany, and maybe a couple of other countries. It was probably easy to have the artist redo that part than try to prevent the set from being sold in Germany.

That's what I had heard even though I've seen it in art from Germany also according to some of my relatives in Germany and much to their disgust there are still places wher it gets displayed

I have the purple banner for purchasing Gabriela, but I'm probably not going to use it unless Daz refunds the $100 they overcharged me yesterday before it expires.
Which is not looking likely, considering they haven't even responded yet to the support ticket I submitted yesterday
Recently help tickets have been taking two days at least for me. I hope they get it figured out soon for you.
Not all tickets are taking two days. I submitted one about the mail going into SPAM, and I got genuine reply from a real live CS person in less than 15 minutes! I was amazed and pleased. I think maybe they had a ready response to that issue that didn't need investigation.
Nice flash sale, except it showed one total when I checked out, and then I checked the email I got 7 hours ago and none of the discounts had been applied. Gotta watch that stuff!

They were released on June 12th, I believe, so they JUST lost their "new" status. It's possible the were still listed as new when the sale was implemented.

Both of those sets are featured in a purple banner promotion. I assume they are excluded from the one so the discounts won't stack with the other.
And yet, there are PA items in there with discounts.
I think it was the date they lost their “new” designation being the same day as that particular sale, like Diva pointed out, that probably caused them to miss the reduction. Ah, well, there’s always another sale around the corner.
